Superga’s 2750, the clean white tennis shoe with the minimalist rubber sole, may look modern but in fact it was launched 100 years ago, in 1911. The centenary celebrations have been low-key; typical of this Turin-based brand. The 2750 has been available in many limited editions, in various colours and materials; our choice will not be around for long. Its discreet details include gold lace loops and anglets and the original Superga logo, originally designed in 1911 and reproduced to celebrate the company’s centenary success.
